Ares IV Bracelet- SOLD by YouniquelyChic Ares IV Bracelet- SOLD by YouniquelyChic
Ares: The Greek god of war. He is one of the Twelve Olympians, and the son of Zeus and Hera. In Greek literature, he often represents the physical or violent aspect of war, in contrast to the armored Athena, whose functions as a goddess of intelligence include military strategy and generalship. He embodied the physical valor necessary for success in war, he was a dangerous force, "overwhelming, insatiable in battle, destructive, and man-slaughtering." Fear (Phobos) and Terror (Deimos) were yoked to his battle chariot. In the Iliad his father Zeus tells him that he is the god most hateful to him.

This very unique bracelet is constructed using vintage watch movement plates with vintage watch gears and emerald Swarovski crystal sew on stones wired to the front... the plates are wired to retaining rings with 28ga emerald wire... working out from the centerpiece are additional retaining rings with smaller watch movement plates and crystals ad working around your wrist are two lengths of gunmetal rolo chain

Centerpiece: 1 1/2 inches tall x 1 inch wide
Length: 7 1/2 inches with 1 inch extender chain

oh this is just gorgeous! Fabulous work! I usually see green used to accent gold... but I think it pops even better with the silver :)
