Oort Cloud:: An immense spherical cloud surrounding our Solar System containing billions of icy bodies in solar orbit. Occasionally, passing stars disturb the orbit of one of these bodies, causing it to come streaking into the inner solar system as a long-period comet. These comets have very large orbits and are observed in the inner solar system only once. The vast distance of the Oort cloud is considered to be the outer edge of the Solar System - where the Sun's orb of physical and gravitational influence ends.

This is the 6th and final version of "Oort Cloud" when this set sells it will be retired for good!

Seven black retaining rings wired together using 28ga silver plated wire to form a VERY intricate and bold pendant with a lovely 14mm tanzanite Swarovski crystal octagon wired to the very center, on the outside two retaining rings are inverted and have a single 4mm set on tanzanite Swarovksi crystal and along the bottom various chain dangles support tanzanite Swarovski crystal teardrops in 7mm 11mm and 9mm... This is a very bold pendant and a fitting design for the final version.
